I know, it's nothing new, they're cute packaging always caught my eye, but I was always caught up with other brands i.e. Clinique (middle school), MAC (what girl isn't), Lancome (still my favorite Mascara maker), Dior, etc etc etc...
Since coming to New York the weather has done a number on my skin, maybe it's the seasons that this LA girl isn't used to but whatever it is, the most recent problem I had was super duper dry skin, like it was flaking everywhere. You know when you get sunburned and your face starts peeling, you try to cover it up with make-up but then your face just looks cakey and splotchy and just a mess? Except I wasn't sunburned, it rained the whole month of June!
Luckily all I needed was some heavy duty moisturizer. This is the one I'm using. Basically, I think my skin is telling me that I'm not getting any younger and I better start taking care of what i got.
K so back to Benefit, I couldn't use powder anymore, but I couldn't walk around without anything. Also I was looking for a peachy pinky blush to give me that summer glow.
That's when Benefit came into my life, and now i can't live without:
Foundation is not heavy at all, only comes in Light and Dark. I use dark, and it basically just evens you out, makes your skin look and feel smooth. Enhances rather than covers up.
Posie Tint I think this shade looks especially good on warmer skin tones. I put this on my cheeks and lips. as this picture demonstrates, sorta.
